Once upon a time…

I exercised obsessively, I limited my calorie intake, and I felt guilty if I took a day off of exercise or splurged in what I ate.

But not anymore.

After my 5th pregnancy, I was ready something different. I wanted to feel inspired. I needed to reconnect with who I was.

I didn’t want to just drag myself into the gym.

So I decided to grab a surfboard and teach myself how to surf. It was amazing and completely changed the trajectory of my life.

Instead of forcing myself to workout, I became excited to just go play. It changed not just my body, but my mind too.

Not that I had a lot of fat, but my body was just able to stay at lean without me working out daily, without needing to run or do cardio, and without cutting calories.

I eventually added rock climbing, mountain biking, and skiing to the mix and while I still ate healthily, there was no more guilt.

I started to see myself in a whole new light as more than just a mom.

Through chasing flow state, I developed a level of self love and self understanding that I had been missing in my life.

It wasn’t about trying to “stay in shape” but instead about building resiliency, sport specific strength, and mobility to prevent injuries.

I believe health begins with freeing yourself from the medical industrial complex. Through diet, fitness, breath work, meditation & journaling, you’ll be able to decrease the inflammation that is making you sick, reestablish good circadian rhythm, decrease your stress, shift easily into the parasympathetic system, and up-regulate your DNA responsible for health.

Most people know what they should eat and that exercise, sleep, and meditation are necessary for health, but don’t do it. Accountability is almost always the missing piece between wanting better health and actually being healthy. Coaching is the best way to to make sure you are doing everything needed to fully heal and embody a healthy, vibrant body.
